Okay, so first of all, hi Diva.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where everything is colorful, nostalgic, a little dramatic, a little magical, and very much made for the girlies.
I’m Koko Chantel, the artist behind Art ByKoko Chantel, and honestly, this whole world started from my love for the kind of things that just make you feel something. Cute rooms, iconic movie moments, colorful outfits, girly characters, after school cartoons, dramatic best friend scenes, pretty prints, and that very specific feeling of being young, inspired, and convinced your life could turn into a movie at any second.
Very Y2K. Very diva. Very “let me romanticize this entire moment.”
I have always loved the kind of art that feels like a memory. Not just something pretty to look at, but something that reminds you of who you were, what you loved, and the little worlds you used to escape into. The movies, the characters, the colors, the bedrooms, the outfits, the glitter, the drama, the heart.
That is a big part of what Art By Koko Chantel is.
It is for the girls who grew up loving the Cheetah Girls, Princess Diaries, 13 Going on 30, Bratz, cartoons, sleepovers, mall days, journals, sparkly pens, and characters who had the cutest outfits even when they were just going through regular life.
It is for the girls who still get excited over a cute print, a colorful frame, a dramatic pose, a soft pink moment, a fun outfit, or anything that feels like it belongs in a teen movie bedroom.
My art is inspired by all of that.
The nostalgia. The girlhood. The color. The cozy magical feeling. The main character energy. The little details that make something feel special.
I love creating digital art prints that feel like they belong in your room, near your vanity, above your desk, in your creative space, or anywhere you want a little extra personality. I also love playing around with frames because sometimes the frame is not just the frame. Sometimes the frame is part of the whole look. A furry frame, a bold color frame, a cute custom moment, it all adds to the world.
And that is really what I want this brand to feel like.
A world.
Not just a shop. Not just a print. Not just something to scroll past.
A world for the divas and the girlies who love pretty things with personality.
Soon, I will also be opening commission artwork of people, created in my own art style. So if you ever wanted to see yourself, your bestie, your sister, your daughter, or someone special turned into a cute illustrated piece with that ArtbyKoko Chantel feeling, that will be coming too.
